Sachidananda Mishra is a veteran development practitioner with over 21 years of extensive experience in collaborating with various government and non-governmental agencies. He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Sambalpur University specialisation in Sociology of Environment. From a young age, Sachidananda has nurtured a passion for storytelling, humanitarian work, and developmental work in the areas of ecology, gender, and youth development.
Throughout his distinguished career and expertise, he has contributed to notable organizations such as Patang, Wildlife Trust of India, ActionAid, and JEETA, a prominent women-led organization. His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including the conservation of ecological biodiversity, gender equality, and youth empowerment, strengthening Organisations and their development. For a decade, he was leading a national-level youth organisation. He was part of various Committees such as the Anti-Ragging Committee of Sambalpur University, the Syllabus Committee of Gender Course, GM University, etc. 
Currently, He is a freelance consultant in the development sector and serves as a storyteller for the Hirakud Wildlife Division. Building leadership and strengthening grassroots organisations has been his major focus. 
His unwavering commitment to youth development, ecological preservation, and wildlife protection is evident in all his endeavours. His diverse experiences and deep-rooted passion make him a valuable asset to any initiative focused on sustainable development and positive social change.
